Our Contributions

It’s necessary to mention that I like ‘unusual’ music. That’s why my favourite kind is indie and post-electro. Music is a very significant part of my life, so, I listen to it whenever and wherever I can. It is also important for me to feel the beat and enjoy the singer’s vocal. Sometimes when there’s nobody around I try to sing to the music I am listening to. To tell the truth, it takes me 6-7 times to listen to the song and I can remember its lyrics. My favourite band is “Foster the People” founded in 2011 in California by Mark Foster. They have already recorded one studio album called ‘Torches’.It’s a pity but I’ve never had a chance to be to any concerts but I do wish I were. I can’t play any musical instruments either but I enjoy listening to the piano and guitar. Nevertheless, I do my best to follow the latest news in the world of music and always download items rated 4-5 stars in music forums.

Collecting info

Discussing the project in the group we dicided to carry out a music survey of our class. Here are the questions to answer:

  1. What kind of music do you like?
  2. Who is your favourite band or musician?
  3. Have you been to many concerts?
  4. Do you listen to music everyday?
  5. Do you download music?
  6. Do you listen to music on an MP3 player?
  7. Can you play a musical instrument?

And Off We Start

We are glad to announce that we have started to work on the project "What is this life if full of care we have no time to ....?"
Have you any ideas what we don't have time to do? - To read for pleasure, to have a rest, to talk about all and nothing, to listen to .......... Ha! What do we listen to?
We have argued much and came to the conclusion that we really have no time to listen to birds singing in the morning, to leaves shuffling under the feet, to wind winding in the trees.... But we do listen to music.
We all agreed that we would like to listen to more music that we can. But what music do we listen to?
Do we listen to the same music or different? Do we listen to solo singers or bands? And after all what style of music do our classmates prefer?
